on my nightstand:

+

am currently loving:

  • Gin and tonic
  • My dog, who sneezes when he gets excited about something
  • David Byrne
  • Nina Simone’s “Sinnerman”
  • A midnight blue dress that my mother bought for me
  • Friends who drop by unannounced

+

what inspires you about spring?

  • Opening the windows
  • Blossoming trees
  • Feeling warm from head to toe for the first time in months

+

what are three constants in your day?

  • A bowl of my homemade granola, with milk
  • Washing dishes
  • Going to bed too late

+

three dishes that you find yourself cooking over and over:

  • Kale, sauteed with olive oil and salt, finished with a squeeze of lemon
  • Homemade granola with coconut, almonds, and chocolate
  • Scrambled eggs with the tiniest splash of cream
